BIOGRAPHY
I studied in Utrecht and Bournemouth.
In 2009, I started my academic path at the Utrecht school of the Arts (HKU) in the Netherlands. In 2013, I archived a Master of Arts degree at the Open University of England, and in 2015, I achieved a Master of Music degree at HKU.
In 2021, I achieved a PhD at the Bournemouth University (BU). My research scrutinises the impact of digital musical instruments upon my compositional process.
I work and live in Amsterdam.
In 2011, I founded ‘Braunsdorf Music’. I have specialised in orchestral and electronic music for media, in particular for Hollywood movie trailers. In the last years, I have established a list of credits, including compositions for Hollywood movie trailers, movies, shows, commercials, documentaries, and short films. In 2014, I achieved the Buma Music In Motion Award.
I partnered up with The Solos.
In 2016, I partnered up with The Solos, and I work closely together with André Ettema and Richard Ram.
I founded Prolody.
Beside of my music compositional activities, I founded the audio software company ‘Prolody B.V.’ Prolody designs voices for robots and virtual characters. We make digital communication more transparent and inclusive.
